The European Network of Japanese Philosophy (ENOJP) was founded by a group of scholars in the field of comparative and Japanese philosophy in 2014.
The core of the organization aims to support and promote the scholarship of what is broadly construed as Japanese philosophy in European languages. The ENOJP aims to achieve this goal by organizing conferences, initiating research projects, and publishing original thematic essays and translation articles through its European Journal of Japanese Philosophy (EJJP).
The editorial board covers a range of European languages including English, French, German, Italian, Japanese, Portuguese, Romanian and Spanish. It is our hope to promote inter-cultural, cross-linguistic, and comparative dialogues through this project.
The ENOJP also welcomes scholars that work in the field of Japanese philosophy in other European languages. For suggestions regarding a specific language not mentioned above, please contact us at contact(at)enojp.org or the contact form.
